365 Random Acts of Kindness
There is a program I recently learned about that is implemented as a way to show humanity’s true kindness. It is called Random Acts of Kindness (RAoK). The RAoK is a journey for personal and spiritual growth. The premise is giving individuals the chance to experience the joy of passing along kindness. The purpose is to raise awareness about kindness and to invite people to give and receive kindness daily.

Of course the ultimate goal would be for everyone to practice kindness 365 days a year. Thousands of people have already caught this vision and have actively improved their school, workplace, and community climate year-round.
This blog will be a documentation of my journey of 365 RAoK. I will attempt to perform one act of kindness each day for one year. I will then post a brief summary of the act. I hope this blog will encourage readers to start their own journey of 365 Random Acts of Kindness. Pass it forward – it will change your life and the lives of others.

  1. This is a wonderful idea. Whether or not you believe you get back what you put out, this is a great way to improve the world one small act at a time. We must be the change we wish to see in the world. It starts with the person you see in the mirror … you.

  2. Thank you for your kind words. To change the world, even a little at a time, it has to start with just one act. It’s our human nature to be kind and gentle, just follow your heart and pass it on around you.
